CSA: A Voice for Everyone

The purpose of the CSA is to provide a voice for all students, both in undergrad and after-degree programs, in regards to all student rights and issues. The CSA website is agreat resource to reference as well. There are some at-home mental health tips, information about the Concordia health and dental plan, as well as “KOFE”. A resource provided to give some additional knowledge and support to students in regards to financial education. In addition, there is a tab to view all the clubs and unions that are present at Concordia: including but not limited to: The Concordia Psychology Club, The Concordia Science Union, The Environmental Health Students Union or the Concordia Self - Defense Club. Even the website for the Bolt can be found through the CSA website! The CSA website has a bit of information on almost every topic you may need; it is definitely one I would recommend everyone take a look at when you have a few minutes to spare! In case not everyone was aware, Concordia just recently held elections for some new representatives. A very big congratulations goes out to Lauren Tetteh-Wayoe who was elected the Athletics Representative. Sports have always been a major part of her life and she wishes to remain connected to both athletics as well as Concordia as a whole through her passion for sports. As well, a huge congratulations goes out to Abha Sharma as well as Ameera Alam who were both elected as Arts Representatives. Abha is in her first year at Concordia and her goal is to create a warm, welcoming space for everyone in the same way she felt welcomed when she walked in the doors of Concordia! She wishes to connect and help students in any way she is able to so if you ever have a question I’m sure Abha is a great person to contact! Ameera also has a great passion for helping and working with people. She would like to create a welcoming environment for all students and be involved in the student body. She understands how overwhelming it is to come to a new school, with new professors, and new people surrounding you every day and she hopes to resolve some of that stress in order to assure everyone has a great start to the school year. Once again a major congratulations goes out to Lauren, Abha, and Ameera. I have full confidence they will all make exceptional representatives. Good luck!
