CBSA - Vibe Sesh Event and Revival
The Concordia Black Students Association (CBSA) kicked off its first event of the year on October 11, setting the tone for a promising year ahead. The CBSA stands as a symbol of unity and progress, dedicated to connecting Black students and others from diverse backgrounds. With a focus on networking, the club works to create opportunities for people of Black heritage and promote entrepreneurship within the community.
The event itself was a massive success. From the moment attendees arrived, they were welcomed with smiles and the vibrant but soothing sound of Afrobeats, creating a welcoming atmosphere of warmth and camaraderie. The evening began with socializing, and it was clear that the CBSA had fostered an open, friendly environment where everyone felt at ease.
As the night progressed, the real fun began with games. Jenga took center stage, quickly turning into a loud and lively spectacle, with everyone joining in the excitement. The room buzzed with energy, as people engaged with one another, making new friends and enjoying the night’s festivities.
In the background, the Concordia Film Association was busy capturing interviews with the CBSA executives. Through these interviews, it became clear that many attendees were entrepreneurs, showcasing the CBSA’s role as an excellent community for business-minded individuals. The organization is truly becoming a hub for those looking to grow professionally while building meaningful connections.
The night ended on a high note with delicious food, including jollof rice and chicken, served to a fully booked room. The event was a resounding hit, leaving everyone eager for more.
