Snow storms will not be the only white out’s happening this February. On February 10th and 11th (Save the date) Volleyball and Basketball are having their senior night and to celebrate this occasion we are having a white out fan zone. A senior night is the last home game of every year where each team celebrates their graduating players. In the ACAC you are only allowed to play 5 years. Once a player has played more than 3 years and they are graduating or moving on they will get a celebration. The women's Basketball team has two seniors graduating, Madison Murdoch and Kaelyn Bryks. The men's basketball team only has one graduating student; Carsten Ritter. Volleyball will be graduating Emma Derbyshire and Tanisha Cronin from the women’s side and Carson Hillburn, Wyatt Turnbull and Nathan Lane from the boys side. Usually each team will organize a present for their seniors like a scrapbook or a gift bag as well as decorate the seniors locker’s before the game. Then at the game there is a ceremony presented by their coaches as well as a speech at the end of the game. It's an awesome night to commemorate each athlete's journey throughout their time at Concordia.

In honor of the last home game of the season we are having a white out fan zone. This means that since we are the home team the teams will be wearing their white jerseys and we want you to wear white as well to show your support. You don’t have anything white to wear? Do not worry! On February 9th and 10th outside of the CSA office, right across from where you get the bolt news, there will be a Thunder T-shirt sale. The Concordia Students’ Association will be covering the majority of the T-shirt cost so these Thunder Athletics T-shirts are only five dollars each! On senior night come with your Thunder shirt on for the best and most importantly, last home game of the year. Here's a sneak peak of the shirts, tell your friends and mark your calendars for Thunder’s last home games of the year. February 10th and 11th.
